Internship at Saint Joseph High School

Saint Joseph High School (SJHS), Natrona Heights, is seeking a part time intern for information technology work within the Development and Alumni Relations office. The internship will be during the Spring 2021 semester, and will pay $12/hour. It will be around 10 hours of work per week, and the student can take the week off for midterms and finals. The applicant should be a sophomore seeking a degree in Information Systems, or a related field, and hold a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The applicant should have experience using Microsoft Word and Excel, and should be prepared for on the job training with the school's Raiser's Edge donation tracking software. (Raiser's Edge is the leading software vendor for development in high schools and colleges/universities. SJHS has used RE for several years and is initiating an upgrade as well as adding additional modules to our solution.)

The job duties will include assisting the Director of Development with tasks assigned by the Raiser's Edge Project Manager for preparing data, setting up users, configuring the system, and ensuring reports from the old system are correctly migrated. In addition, several modules will be plugged into the RE system to provide additional functionality, which require configuration and testing. Experience with Excel, especially in analyzing and filtering data is a plus. Raiser's Edge uses SharePoint and Zoho for managing the deliverables of the project. Thus, this is a great opportunity to not only learn the Raiser's Edge software package, but also the tools used by a major software company to roll out and implement software for their clients.
