Computer Science Minor
The minor consists of 18 credits (typically 6 courses).
- CS 102 - Fundamentals of IT and Computing
- CS 110 - C++ Programming I
- CS 111 - C++ Programming II
- CS 221 - Data Structures
- Six additional credits in CIS courses from the following list: CS170, CS171, CS270, CS205, CS305, CS330, CS355. One course from another department may be substituted subject to the approval of the CIS department chairperson.
- Student should consult with the CIS faculty for assistance in planning the courses for the CS minor
Information Technology Minor
The minor consists of 18 credits (typically 6 courses).
- CS 102 - Fundamentals of IT and Computing
- CS 110 - C++ Programming I or CS 109 - Introduction to VB Programming
- CS 265 - Information Systems Management
- CS 321 - Data Communications and Computer Networks
- CS 350 - Database Concepts and Information Structures
- Three additional credits in CIS courses at the 200 level or above are required. One course from another department may be substituted subject to the approval of the CIS department chairperson.
- Student should consult with the CIS faculty for assistance in planning the courses for the CS minor
Cybersecurity Minor
The minor consists of 18 credits (typically 6 courses).

- CS 321 - Data Communications and Computer Networks
- CS 325 - Advanced Cybersecurity
