Server Information

The CIS Department uses two servers, one running Unix and the other running Windows 2008 Enterprise Server, to provide an opportunity for students to attain a knowledge of each type of operating system, as both are very popular in industry. The servers are maintained by Br. David Carlson (carlsond@stvincent.edu), James Hoffman, Derek Kaser, and Chuck Arbore.

The Unix and Windows 2008 servers are generally available all the time, with the exception of downtimes for backups.
