About Computing Career Day

[Renee Novak of Timken Latrobe Steel]
  • Last year's Computing Day was held at Saint Vincent College on February 26, 2001.

  • Attendees learned about the many opportunities in this growing field.
  • The presenters talked with students about why women often do not consider this field and thus miss the chance for a great career in a field where they very well might have the needed skills.
  • The need for teamwork and social skills to complement one's technical skills was emphasized.
