Professional Certifications in Computing
CIS majors, especially those in the Information Technology concentration, are
encouraged to work toward one or more certifications in an area of interest to them.
The companies listed below are some of those that offer certification exams (as well as
courses and materials to prepare for the exams). At most of the sites listed below you
can find the relevant information by looking for certifications or training. This list
is not meant as an endorsement of any particular certification program.
