The Two Ways

Do something positive with your life. We hear too much of people who cause tragedies. Shootings, terrorism, fraud. How much better to work to help people.

Moses (Deuteronomy 31:19-20) tells the people: "... I set before you life or death, blessing or curse. Choose life, then, so that you and your descendants may live..."

The Last Judgement

Many people wonder what will happen after this life. Christians know at least the rough outline of this. Matthew 25:31-46 shows the King separating the sheep from the goats. The former are welcomed into eternal life, while the latter are sent away to eternal punishment. On what basis is this separation done? Not on the basis of how smart we were, what grades we got, how much we prayed, how famous we were, or how much money we earned. Rather, it is all decided by how we treat one another: "Whatever you did to the least of humanity, that you did to me." (Matthew 25:40)
